Last night T-Daddy and I hosted a Soiree to celebrate the harvest and my 35th birthday.
T-Daddy took Friday off and we prepped the house and some of the food for the party. After CiBaby went to bed we popped in a movie and went to painting the pumpkins for the kids' craft the next day.

The morning of the party we had a little issue in the kitchen, the drain was clogged, making it very hard to continue cooking and cleaning up. So the first "guest" to arrive was the Roto-Rooter guy.
On with the par-tay! The food ended up being great and the company, wonderful.
We dined on many veggies (eggplant, zucchini and tomatoes) that came from our garden and made into:
Date Ratatouille
Roasted Cream of Cherry Tomato Soup
Hot/veggie dogs with homemade heirloom tomato ketchup
CzaMama's famous salsa
We also had caramel apples*, pumpkin bars (thanks Kel, they were DELISH!) and lots of beer and wine
The kids did their Autumn craft**
And it was awesome to see friends that I don't get to see often enough.
Thanks for sharing the evening with me everyone! I had a blast.
*if anyone knows how to keep the apples from completely adhering to the waxed paper, please let me know!
**I was walking a guest out and missed pics of the other kids doing their pumpkins...so you only get CiBaby.
